Since 1951, UPSA’s manufacturing plant was built in Agen, in the department of Lot-et-Garonne (47). UPSA is constantly seeking innovative ways to address health’s permanent evolution. In that regard, UPSA capitalizes on its center for development pharmaceutics to adapt to its patients’ changing needs.

🧾What are the main responsibilities of the position?

The Business Analyst in the OTC sector plays a key role in analyzing business processes, gathering and interpreting data, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements within the Over-the-Counter product category.

1. Data Analysis:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data related to OTC product sales, market trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to present key findings to stakeholders.

2. Performance Metrics:

  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and efficiency of OTC business operations.
  • Regularly monitor and report on KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.

3. Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the OTC market.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence.

4. Business Process Analysis:

  • Evaluate and analyze existing business processes within the OTC sector.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction.

5. Requirements Gathering:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to gather and document business requirements for new initiatives or system enhancements.

6. Forecasting and Planning:

  • Assist in the development of sales forecasts and business plans for OTC products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

7. Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis related to OTC product performance, pricing strategies, and profitability.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making.

8. Data Management:

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within relevant databases and systems.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement data governance best practices.

9. Communication:

  • Effectively communicate complex data and analysis results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure a shared understanding of analytical findings.

What skills/experiences are expected for the role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field..
