The 🍀UPSA🍀 laboratories (Union de Pharmacologie Scientifique Appliquée) are historically specialized in pain management and self-medication. Doctor Camille Bru founded the laboratories in Agen in 1935.

Since 1951, UPSA’s manufacturing plant was built in Agen, in the department of Lot-et-Garonne (47). UPSA is constantly seeking innovative ways to address health’s permanent evolution. In that regard, UPSA capitalizes on its center for development pharmaceutics to adapt to its patients’ changing needs.
In order to further strengthen our organizational capacity in response to our growing business, we are currently looking for a global PMO in our Science department.
This is a double position: GLOBAL PROJECT MANAGER OFFICER (DRUGS / NON-DRUGS) & REGIONAL (EMERGING MARKETS) PROJECT MANAGER (NON-DRUGS)
🧾What are the main responsibilities of the position?
As Global Project Manager Officer and member of the Scientific Affairs Leadership team:
- Project Management: Oversee and Coordinate the life cycle management of innovation products from Development to registration and maintenance, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects. You will define, implement and manage the appropriate tracking tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments such as Development, Quality Assurance, and Global Marketing to ensure alignment of project objectives.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to key stakeholders and Senior management on project status, risks, and changes.
- Budget: Support Head of Global Scientific Affairs in budget and expenses management.
As Emerging Markets Regulatory Affairs Non-Drug Project Manager:
- Lead all Non-Drugs projects in Emerging Markets (Asia, Middle East, Africa and Geographical expansion)
- Work in collaboration with various internal stakeholders : Global Non-Drug Regulatory Leads, development, quality, marketing and regions/countries and provide regulatory expertise: attend project teams (lifecycle or launch) to allow market access in the best conditions & timeframe
- Coordinate international life-cycle management of the core dossiers (Food Supplement/Medical Devices) to affiliates and distributors for timely notifications/filings to concerned regulated bodies
- Active participation to and coordination of the preparation of the full dossier with UPSA Global functions, regional/local regulatory teams
- Review and coordinate local approval of promotional material & packaging materials
- Ensure regulatory intelligence related to non-drug products and geographies
- Participate on geographical expansion projects, and in collaboration with local teams, identify regulatory requirements and prepare the dossier to launch the products according to the strategy plan
- Update of the non-drug regulatory databases
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and UPSA policies and procedures
✨ What skills/experiences are expected for the role?
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs department, with proven expertise on Non Drugs (food supplements, medical devices…).
- Proficiency in computer tools Project, Word, Excel, etc.
- International registration exposure for both Medicinal products and Non-Drugs would be an asset for the position
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Science (engineer, chemistry, biology…) / life-science degree (Pharmacist…)
- Project Management significative experience
- Leadership across matrixial environment
- Rigorous, dynamic, analytical skills
- Open communication
- Fluent in English and French.
- Ability to work autonomously.
