CONTEXT

To further strengthen the Marketing team and accelerate the launch of breakthrough innovations, UPSA is seeking a Brand Manager Innovations.
The Brand Manager Innovations at UPSA will join a dynamic Marketing team and play a pivotal role in both strategic direction and operational excellence. This role offers rich cross-functional exposure through the execution of the category plan in close collaboration with the UPSA Global Marketing Team, the local Marketing team, Commercial team, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Department, and Finance. He/she will report directly to the Marketing Director.

As Brand Manager Innovations, the role carries full accountability for building and executing the marketing plan for all new innovations and product launches across UPSA Belux, while playing a defining role in accelerating digital transformation.
This position is office based, in Mont-Saint-Guibert. Close to Brussels and near Louvain-La-Neuve.
THE MISSION
Work in close collaboration with the Marketing team to:
•Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies for innovation and new product launches across disruptive segments .
•Support the preparation of launch plans (understanding prescription and OTC drivers, defining key SKUs, sales forecasting) in close collaboration with Commercial Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain
•Participate in the development and implementation of marketing plans, supporting key strategic pillars through effective communication and marketing materials in collaboration with the Marketing team
•Coordinate and follow up on marketing activities (e.g. Cycle Meeting preparation, business reviews, forecast consolidation, business case support, launch readiness) with Marketing, Commercial, and Scientific teams
•Work closely with field teams to gather insights, identify opportunities, and support the optimization of marketing initiatives
•Prepare briefs and coordinate with external agencies for the development of marketing materials and market research projects
•Contribute to brand planning activities for both HCP marketing and D2C activation, ensuring effective execution
•Monitor the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer/patient needs to support performance analysis and business reviews
•Support product development activities by providing market insights and identifying opportunities aligned with customer needs
•Analyze product performance and propose short-term tactical actions to capture market opportunities in line with brand strategy
•Support the management and tracking of the promotional budget in line with priorities and plans
•Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (UPSA International, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Medical, Finance) and external partners (Healthcare Professionals, Key Opinion Leaders, consumers, authorities)
•Contribute to continuous improvement by bringing forward new ideas, supporting stakeholder discussions, and testing new approaches
•Support the development of the brands’ digital presence (websites, analytics tools, social media channels)
•Execute, monitor, and optimize multichannel campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing team
•Contribute to enhancing customer engagement and experience across digital touchpoints
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
•Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related field
•Demonstrated interest or experience in business development
•Fluent in English and French; Dutch is a strong asset, with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
•At least 2-5 years of experience in a Marketing role within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
•Strong marketing and digital expertise, with the ability to think strategically, craft powerful briefings, and ensure excellence in execution
